Your ENTIRE biz is judged by *THIS* 🤯

I don’t know about you, Reader, but after Labor Day & my birthday hits—I go straight into full 🎶 “This is Halloween, this is Halloween…” 🎶 mode 🎃 👻 🧟 ☠️ 🦇 🐈‍⬛ 🪦

With the song lyrics from my favorite Halloween movies dancing in my head like those spooky scary skeletons…

And there’s one particular lyric I want to bring to your attention—direct from Oogie Boogie’s Song:

“He's ancient, he's ugly. I don't know which is worse. I might just split a seam now. If I don't die laughing first.”

^^^ And *that* Reader—is the same exact reaction your ideal clients are gonna have when they land on your website if it’s ugly 😬

Because, whether we like it or not, people judge a book by its cover—or in this case a website by its design.

Specifically, 75% of your website visitors will decide your business isn’t credible based on the design.

^^^ Yes. You read that right. Your ENTIRE biz will be judged by your website’s design 🤯

Because while your website might seem like a small part of your biz…

It’s actually kind of a big deal. And the ripple effect of an ugly website design—could end up being as catastrophic as Jack Skellington trying to take over Christmas.

(*Read that stat again if you’re still unsure*)

Your website is the Halloween Town of your website—aka. it’s the central hub where all your traffic drives to AND one of the best vehicles to measure whether your marketing efforts are working, or not.

It’s just one of those things a Google doc or napkin can’t track #sorrynotsorry

That’s why I’m bringing back a blog from the archives that dives EVEN DEEPER on this topic. The subject being why you need a pretty website AND 5 elements that’ll make it look great—so you don’t have your ideal client’s going to your website & thinking, “Oh, boy that’s something strange…”.

Peace Out ✌🏻️

There are *A LOT* of Disney quotes that squirrel around in my head rent-free on the daily, Reader. (No surprises—this newsletter practically survives off them LOL 😆) Like: “Fish are friends, not food.” - Bruce, Finding Nemo “T as in Troy?” - Gabriella, High School Musical “How do you lose a woman?” - Mr. Mosby, “You forget to cherish her.” - Cody, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody “Pull the lever, Kronk!” - Yzma, The Emperor’s New Groove 🤯 “To overnight six packages to Japan is how much? What?...

I’m gonna get straight to the pointe, Reader: Your ideal clients are gonna leave your website if they can’t find the info they need fast and/or your website design is ugly 😬 #sorrynotsorry to rip the Band-Aid off—but if you’re gonna go to all the hard work of getting your ideal clients to your website… ^^^ They need to stick around long enough to either a) buy something from you or b) subscribe to your email list so you can stay in touch with them. And if they’re leaving before they do either...

If you’ve ever been to Costco Reader—you’re familiar with the samples throughout the store. And I could write a whole blog about why that’s an excellent marketing strategy (*adds to to-do list*)... But, that’s not today’s newsletter. Instead, I’m gonna tell you a story (I promise it’s business-related)—but first let me set the scene. I’m walking in the snack section of Costco, the area where you’d find the roasted cashews, granola bars & fruit snacks. Which is also the home of the beef jerky....
