Likely story 🙄

I’m fairly decent at creating content consistently for my biz Reader.

But, when I’m dealing with life stuff that’s piled up fast with unexpected things (see my last newsletter about cranberries never looking the same again 👀)...

You’d better believe worrying about posting on IG gets drops like a #hotpotato off of my to-do list 🥔 🔥

(For 20 days to be precise…oopsies 😬)

But, you know what has been happening while I haven’t been posting Reader?

^^^ My website is still bringing in traffic without me doing a dang thing.

Because here’s the thing: Zuckerberg & whoever’s in charge of things that happen over at Meta, might swear up & down they care about their creators…

But, at the end of the day, they only care about an ROI—which they can’t get if you’re not on the platform posting. So if you don’t post, IG does nothing for you (unless you're paying for ads). Pretty simple 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s why it’s vital to have a website that can WORK FOR YOU, WHEN YOU CAN’T. Or plain don’t want to.

Because whether it’s unexpected food poisoning or a planned vacation—you NEED something that can sell for you 24/7365 💯

Not something that only cares for maybe 48 hours after you post, unless you’re initials have a K or a dollar sign in them.

And in today’s blog, I’m doubling down on 5 things a website can do for you that social media can’t.

Because with BFCM coming up soon, Reader—now’s the perfect time to make sure your website’s working for you, like it should.

^^^ I mean, your ideal clients are gonna buy something this buying season—so it might as well be one of your offers 🤷🏻‍♀️

Peace Out ✌🏻️

Storytelling has been on my mind A LOT lately, {SUB NAME}. One of the reasons why I won’t get into yet… But the other reason is because storytelling’s underused in the creative biz space. ^^^ When it should be your biggest marketing flex. Because your story is the one thing no one can steal from you or attempt to replicate, Reader. Your brand aesthetic, SOP’s + processes, your theories… Can all be copied + pasted by anyone in your industry. But, your story? ^^^ It would be weird if someone...

There’s this idea I’ve been obsessed with lately, Reader. Internal conflict. Why you ask? Well… There’s one reason I’m not quite ready to share yet 🤐🤐🤐 The other reason? I’ve been having a lot of internal conflict lately—like an overthinker does… And it made me think of how our ideal client's minds work the same work. No duh, because we’re all humans. (If you’re a robot reading this—kindly unsubscribe 🤖) We ALL have a goal we want to achieve (or at least I’d hope so)—but a lot of times,...

It’s October 3rd, Reader. And the limit does not exist on how many quotes from Mean Girls live rent-free in my head—like: “That’s so fetch.”—Gretchen Wieners “I’m a mouse. Duh!”—Karen Smith “Grool. I meant to say cool but then I started to say great.”—Cady Heron “She doesn’t even go here!”—Damian “But you're, like, really pretty.”—Regina George 🎀 I know, I know. My taste in cinema is super refined. But that last one. THAT 🎀 one. That one reminds me of the reaction someone SHOULD have when...
